DRILL SET-UP:

Pair up with a ball and stand 2-3m apart.

DRILL EXPLANATION:

  1. Player grubber kicks ball to partner.
  2. Both players then take a step back.
  3. Keep going until the distance is practicable.

  • Control the ball onto the foot.
  • Knee is bent.
  • Stabbing motion.
